Week 18: Midterm week: the first half, consolidated

Field Book
1 to 67
Due
MIDTERM
Method
Paper first, every step
No new lessons this week. The board goes quiet and the pencil does the talking: everything from the first seventeen weeks, one exam. The best preparation is not rereading; it is redoing.

What you have to be able to do

The procedures

How to review
  1. Redo one worked example from each week of the Field Book, cold, without looking first.
  2. Run the Org Chart audit again online; it was built as the midseason review.
  3. Drill any lane that wobbles in the Yard: the drills are reps, not grades.
On exam day
  1. Read every problem before solving any.
  2. Show the steps: a right answer with no work does not clear the paper gate.
  3. Check signs last; the minus sign is where cases reopen.
