Welcome In

Welcome in. This site is yours all year. Nothing on it grades you. Nothing tells on you. You can play every game a hundred times. That is the deal.

The Yard is where you practice. Games and word walks, open every single day, like a playground. The Plots are the escape rooms. A new one unlocks every few weeks. They are extra credit, one to five points, and the paper in your hand is what makes it count. The Kit is where you look things up so you do not have to remember everything: the formula board, the glossary, and the Field Notes that unlock one week at a time. The front page always knows what week it is, and THE STORY SO FAR catches you up if you miss a week.

Your teacher teaches. You bring your paper. Drills give you tickets. Word walks give you slips. Rooms pay points. If a door is locked, it is not broken. It just is not time yet. The door will tell you the day it opens.

The Bridgewright left this under the third plank: stone does not hurry and neither do the careful. You read every board in the stack, which is how bridges get built. Tell your teacher the phrase STEADY ON and look wise.
